The following information gives a general indication of what to expect, but we also have a more detailed description which we email out to new clients before confirming their booking. The information we email out to you describes exactly where we lie on that spectrum, and it is important for you to read this information thoroughly so you are in a suitable position to make an informed decision about the type of experience you’d like to book in for.

This is a slow, sensual, close contact massage intended to induce a sense of soothing comfort, being nurtured and stimulating the erotic senses in a safe, relaxing, consensual way. Both therapist and client are naked and the massage takes place on layers of duvets on the floor in a heated, atmospheric room.

Clients are encouraged to be conscious of how they experience various types of physical touch all over their body and be comfortable with embracing their sensual selves. This requires a relaxed and inquisitive mindset that is able to be less bashful and more open to sensual experience. Although clients can attend for no other reason than the sheer pleasure of it, we nevertheless regard tantric massage as holistic and therapeutic, and more than just a pampering session. Tantric massage is for clients who wish to reconnect with their sensual self, or gain a better understanding of how they experience their own sense of touch and sensuality. If the clients desires then non-sexual reciprocal touch is permitted throughout the session, but any reciprocal touch of a sensual nature requires consent.

The information we send you is quite long, and it needs to be so you can get a proper indication of what is provided and whether this suits your needs and desires.

When it comes to the reasons why someone may want tantric massage, everyone ticks the pleasure box, but sometimes there are other reasons too why someone may wish to come.

For example:

·         Taking the time to slow things down and stay conscious of how they respond to touch.

·         Practice asking for something they want.

·         Regain confidence following a break-up before dating again.

Sessions for female clients are open-ended. This means we agree on a start time but the finishing time is up to you. You decide when you’ve got what you came for and when the session ends. You are guaranteed at least an hour and you do not need to be conscious of the clock or of going over-time. It takes as long as it takes. If you wish for ninety minutes or two hours then it’s not a problem. Some sessions have even been known to go over two hours, and this is okay too if that’s how you feel the session is panning out for you. The price remains the same and is fixed.

Part of the reason for open-ended sessions is that some clients come with something they wish to discuss or talk about, either before or after the massage, but they don’t know how long it might take them. Or something occurs during the massage that prompts them to want to mention something relevant and personal to them.

An open-ended session means you can opt for this without it eating into your massage time and without you wondering if an increase in time means additional fees; it doesn’t.

It is understandable that male clients reading this may be puzzled why the format for female clients is different. This is due to a long period of reflection when it was realized that there are certain factors that relate differently to female clients than male clients. It’s also indicative of some differences in the way Val and I go about providing this service.
